The Marina di Grosseto Beach

The municipality of Marina di Grosset is a renowned tourist resort just 12 km away from Grosseto.
Important seaside resort in the Maremma of Grosseto, it is known for its wide beaches overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, with a vast pine forest in the back, known as ‘Pineta del Tombolo’, which extends from Punta Ala to the Uccellina Mountains

The town center develops from the mouth of the San Rocco river outlet, at the border of the Maremma Natural Park, not far from the mouth of the Ombrone river.
The wide beach (an average 50 meters wide) with many bathing establishments and even large parts of free public beach, reaches uninterruptedly up to Castiglione della Pescaia.

The beach is well equipped for sailing, kite-surfing and windsurfing. The seabed slopes gently towards the sea, and is therefore also suitable for younger children. Furthermore, Marina di Grosseto is connected to Grosseto, Principina a Mare and Castiglione della Pescaia by comfortable cycle paths.
